As the seasons change, the School of Wonder is excited to continue exploring, completing missions and connecting with ourselves, each other, and the natural world during our 2024 after school program at Prospect Park & 5th St.
A nature-based after school program for 5 to 11 year-olds
Our program takes place in a beautiful forest in Prospect Park that is perfectly suited for free play in a safe environment. Kids are introduced to creative stations, costumes, and supplies to inspire imaginative play, and they do the rest. In the “Wonder Village,” children learn to play together, build relationships, and solve conflicts using compassionate communication.

Program Components
Wonder Kids After School offers an immersive experience in a unique natural setting. Here, the Wonder Kids are free to engage with the natural world and build authentic relationships with other children.
Experienced camp leaders in outdoor education and creative play create a safe environment where children can feel calm and confident to discover new facets of themselves.
With props, costumes, building supplies, and mysterious scrolls with missions, every day becomes a unique adventure where children develop their own games, characters and stories through free play.
We do improvisational play, music, dance, and theater with talented artists who collaborate with us, exposing children to diverse forms of creative self-expression.

WHAT KIDS CAN LEARN
In this unique after-school program, kids will be able to connect with different realities by exploring their inner and outer world. They will discover new talents, find their own rhythm, expand their consciousness, and freely choose their own adventures.
